Hi, I'm Seth Burnett.

I'm a designer and front-end developer creating accurate, on-brand communications out of my little corner of the Northwest–the Tri-Cities.

Who am I?

I’m a multi-faceted designer, creating on-brand graphics and experiences professionally for the past 9+ years. I’ve worked as part of a team, both internally and externally, and in doing so understand how each different aspect of proper branding comes together. Since I began my career, my role has shifted from being an interactive developer to being a web designer to motion graphics artist to brand strategist and more, giving me a unique and well-rounded perspective on each aspect of digital creation. But no matter what my role has been, I’ve always been able to see the larger picture and make sure there was consistency across products, in essence, proper branding.

The ability to see the bigger picture and to understand branding at its most basic level gives me a unique perspective that you won’t find in many other places. This ability along with always pushing myself and co-workers to try something new as well as making sure the details are right has allowed me to work with clients both large and small, local and national.

As far as being more than my career is concerned, I make my home in Pasco, Washington. I love the Pacific Northwest and all it has to offer. I was born and raised here in the Tri-Cities and while it wasn’t the most adventure filled place as a teen, I’ve always recognized it as a place that will be great for raising children. When I’m not working I’m playing with my adorable puppy (no really, cutest puppy ever) or making a trek across the mountains to Seattle to watch the Sounders or Seahawks win in dominating fashion.

I’m also a pretty hardcore Apple enthusiast/geek/fan/lover and am always awaiting the next event or announcement from Apple.

Now that you’ve learned a bit about me, why don’t you drop me a line and tell me a bit about yourself. And if you have a project in mind, you could mention that too…if you want.

My personal highlight reel

Most of the time we think of highlight reels as something that belong to athletes, celebrities, or part of the news. But we've all got highlights to our lives. This is just a piece of mine.

Volunteer Work

Royal Family KIDS | 2005 - Present
Royal Family KIDS is a week-long camp for children in the foster care system that have been abused or neglected. Our belief is that one week can make a difference in the life of a child. My role is that of videographer/editor. I shoot video all day, every day and at night edit that footage into a review of the day for the kids to watch in the morning. The reason for this is that many of our kids have never had any sort of home videos and love to see themselves on camera. I also take the footage from the entire week and and create a week in review that is used for fundraising and promotional purposes back at home. I also provide graphic design support during the rest of the year.

Personal Life

Bought a house | April 2014
I'm a first-time homeowner! Whether it's painting, landscaping, fixing something, or decorating a wall...there's always something to do, but I love doing it because everything I do puts a little bit more of "me" into it and makes it feel more like home.

Became a dad...kinda | September 2014
Growing up I always had a dog around. Whether it was Missy, who my parent's got before I was born. Or Amber, who I picked out of the litter when I was about 10 years old. After Amber died in 2009, I knew I'd want a dog again. Well that happened, and her name is Lady. She's got the most personality I've ever seen in a dog, is as cute as can be, and just barely 2 years old, one of the smartest (and sometimes stubborn) dogs I've met. I love coming home to her everyday.
